"The Europeans", the only fully bilingual (French/English) Toastmasters Club in Paris, is the club for you!

At "The Europeans", you will learn to relax, plan, and present a terrific speech, whether you have 10 days to prepare, or just 10 seconds. You will learn and practice in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere with people who are there for the same reason you are - to become better communicators.

The Europeans

"The Europeans" is a bilingual Toastmasters’ Club (English/French) with the objective of providing everyone with the opportunity to practice speaking in front of a group of people either in French or in English, at the choice of the speaker.

"The Europeans", a non-profit organisation, was started in 1997. The Club is a member of Toastmasters International which comprises almost 10,000 clubs throughout the world.

Who are our members?

• If you envy some of your colleagues their ease at speaking in public…
• If you have the impression of not always being understood in business meetings…
• If the idea of proposing a toast at your niece’s wedding makes you frightened…
• If your speeches at university are punctuated by "ahs"…
• If you want to reach the same ease in English which you already have in French, or vice-versa…

then you need to awaken the orator who is sleeping within you!

The "Europeans" Club addresses itself just as much to beginners in public speaking who are trying to overcome their nervousness, as to the more experienced professionals, striving to perfect their communication techniques. It gathers together men and women of different outlooks and cultures: students, top and middle management, lawyers, doctors, artists, craftsmen, retired people, job seekers…

You should be completely at ease in one of the two languages (English or French) and at least be able to understand in the other.

The names "Toastmasters International", "Toastmasters", and the Toastmasters International emblem are trademarks protected in the United States, Canada, and other countries where Toastmasters Clubs exist. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
